After several delays, Nicki Minaj has finally narrowed down a date for her “Starships” video. The feel-good clip, directed by Anthony Mandler, is expected to premiere this week.

“It’s officially done today,” Nicki told KISS FM in the U.K. “We just gotta now turn it in and then the networks will look and see if they have to take anything out. They give me such a hard time with my videos. They really do. … But hopefully Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest.”

The Young Money diva shot her sexy scenes on the beaches and mountains of Hawaii in March. “When it comes out it’s going to be very, very saucy and very exciting, and it’s going to be lots of fun and probably going to be my best one yet,” she told Capital FM.

Seems like Minaj tired a lot of comaring with her colleague and equally eccentric, Lady Gaga, so she hastened to clarify her position on an interview she did on the ABC's Show "Nightline".

So, Nicki said that she is not like with Mother Monster at all, as she's a raper and her origins are from the North Jamaica.

"Were are the similarities? Each woman in the musical industry wears wigs. In the very eccentric appearances? Nay... I don't think so. Tired little funny. In the begining i didn't mind. I said that they will learn me and understand that we're not the same", Nicki Minaj said.

However, the singer said that Gaga is a "fantasic star".

"She has setted her way. She has created her own path. I think that I have my own too. And they don't intersecting each other", Minaj added.

So we know from now and on that Nicki is not the same with anyone!

Everyone in the world of pop music has released their very own scent! The next one to follow in those footsteps is Nicki Minaj!

According to WWD, Nicki will be releasing her very first fragrance this fall, just in time for the holiday season. The rapper said:

 “I have always been a huge fan of great fragrances. This is yet another extension of my creative expression. I designed the scent and bottle with my Barbz in mind.”

 “Barbz” is how Minaj refers to her loyal fans. There really isn’t too much info on this new scent yet, but I’m sure it will be very girly like Minaj!
