[NEWS] GIVE BACK BRANDS SIGNS EXCLUSIVE FRAGRANCE AGREEMENT WITH NICKI MINAJ TO DEBUT IN DEPARTMENT STORES FALL 2012

Platinum-selling International super star Nicki Minaj has signed an exclusive prestige fragrance licensing agreement with Give Back Brands LLC. This deal, which was brokered by Nicki's management company, Blueprint Group, will be the debut fragrance for Nicki Minaj.

One of the most influential and cutting-edge artists of today, Nicki Minaj's sweep of success through avant-garde creative expression and commitment to her fans make her an extraordinary addition to the portfolio of Give Back Brands' celebrity partnerships. Continuing to rise with unique appeal through her groundbreaking influence on music, beauty, style and fashion, Nicki Minaj will undoubtedly create a striking fragrance that will unapologetically break boundaries in a way that is uniquely hers.

Nicki Minaj has mastered a revolutionary mix of Hip Hop & Pop with her recently released, second consecutive #1 album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. Her previous album, Pink Friday, debuted in 2010 and was a huge commercial success – it was certified Double Platinum and ranked #1 on the US Billboards. Nicki Minaj was the first female artist to have 7 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at the same time. Her growing 18M Facebook fans and 11M Twitter fans interact with her constantly – especially with regard to her creative performances, appearances and upcoming world tour. Cited multiple times in The NY Times, her influential power has soared beyond the world of Hip Hop; Nicki Minaj is clearly one of the most sought-after women in top fashion, style, ethnic and beauty publications.

"I am so excited about my fragrance debut, and am proud to partner with Give Back Brands for such a personal project," said Nicki Minaj. "I have always been a huge fan of great fragrances; this is yet another extension of my creative expression and I can't wait to share it with the world. I designed this scent and bottle with my Barbz in mind; I know they will love it!"

"Nicki Minaj has proven relevance as an artist, as well as a captivating talent in the facets of beauty, style and fashion. Her appeal is rising at an incredible rate; her unique creative expression lends her brand name to a broad range of possibilities without boundaries. We are extremely proud to partner with Nicki Minaj on this initiative," said Give Back Brands' Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, Noreen Dodge.

"Give Back Brands achieved remarkable success with Justin Bieber's fragrance 'Someday'. And now we are thrilled to collaborate with Nicki on her first scent. We anticipate her signature fragrance will generate tremendous appeal and excitement amongst consumer and retailers. Nicki adds another unique dimension to our portfolio strategy of powerful celebrity brands," says Give Back Brands' Co-Founder, Robert Hollander.
"Signing Nicki Minaj was a simple decision; her talent and extensive reach present a platform with tremendous global opportunity," says Paul West, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer. "This partnership will further strengthen Give Back Brands' portfolio of fragrances, and continues to build upon our overall vision of collaborating with top artists to create world-class products that will ultimately make a difference."

The agreement includes the development, marketing, and distribution of fragrances for Nicki Minaj; the first fragrance is slated to debut in prestige department stores in Fall 2012. Nicki Minaj is involved in all aspects of her fragrance brand, including product development, packaging and advertising.

Give Back Brands' first licensing agreement, with Justin Bieber, has proven incredibly successful. Someday by Justin Bieber debuted in June 2011 and was the #1 women's fragrance launch of the year, breaking all historical retail records in the celebrity fragrance category.
Marketing plans for the fragrance are currently in development. Additional information will be announced closer to the Fall 2012 launch.
